Welcome to Church oh the Holy Cross

WHAT SUFFERING?

Peter knows that in human living some suffering is unavoidable. But, he says, it is important to be clear why you suffer. Avoid the suffering that you bring on yourself by causing others to suffer. Don't murder, steal, or destroy the rights of another. But if you are made to suffer because you love God, the earth, other creatures, don't let that stop you. Rejoice in knowing that God's Spirit acts with you. Rejoice because your life is mirroring that of Jesus.

Kolbe Center will be finished this week. On Wednesday the staff will have a walk-through lesson on where everything is located and how it works. After that it will be time to set up the rooms, kitchens and closets. The carts, silverware, serving items, etc. have been stored in a variety of places and we will have to go through everything and put it in the proper place.

All of the exterior doors, glass doors and many of the rooms in the school have been re-keyed for security purposes.

$236,888.00 is still needed to reach our goal. If you would like to give a gift, make a pledge, or give a second year gift, please use the yellow envelope in the envelope packet mailed to your home. Thank you for your continued generosity!

 PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC
ADORATION NEWS

                What is Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration?

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is simply our response to Jesus' love for us, whereby each of us is willing to spend quiet time in His Eucharistic Presence. Jesus said "Come to me all of you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you." (Mt. 11 :28) Check out the Adoration Chapel which is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Receive His Peace - Receive His Blessings. For more information call 763-788-4729 or 612-781-4806. Thank you
