THIS WEEKEND we will have registration after Mass for the 2002-2003 religion classes and First Communion preparation. Come to the Sacristy. It will only take a few minutes.
This registration includes:

  All children who will attend public school and be in grades 1-8 next school year.
  Children who will be in grade 2 in preparation for First Communion, whether they attend public school or Northeast Regional Catholic School.

Please make use of these opportunities. If you have questions, call Sister Donna 612-789-9168 (evenings).
ENGLISH ALTAR & ROSARY GUILD MEETING Monday, May 13 beginning in Church at 6:30 p.m. with Mass, installation of new officers, new members and May Crowning. Meeting to follow in Kennedy Hall. Rose leaders please turn in your dues books. The Holy Name Society will join us for a social following the meeting. Roses 101 and 102 will furnish refreshments. If any ladies in the parish are interested in joining the Rosary Guild, please call Janice at the Parish Office on Monday - 612-789-7238.
 HOLY CROSS LIBRARY SUMMER "READ - A - THON" for children May 26 to September 8. Win great prizes for reading the most books! Books can be from any library. Sign up after Mass on May 18 and 19 in the library or fill out the form enclosed in this week's bulletin.

THANK YOU to the Northeast Regional Catholic School community for the wonderful support to the Fun'd Festival. It costs approximately $5,000 a year to educate a child at NERCS so the $13,500 raised will be put to good use. The school needs all of you if we are to succeed. Thank you! .

THIS WEDNESDAY, May 15, 2002, is the Feast of St. Isidore, patron of farmers. We remember to pray for farmers and others who devote themselves to this important and noble work. We pray in their support that their labors may reap a harvest of spiritual benefits and abundant crops, and join our thoughts and actions with their's in efforts to find and work for just solutions to continued challenges in the food and agriculture sector.
DE LA SALLE HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAMS - DeLaSalle High School is accepting registrations into its Player's Choice summer athletic camps for boys and girls. All camps at DeLaSalle are directed by varsity coaches in their respective sports - baseball, boys basketball, girls basketball, competitive cheerleading, fast pitch softball, girls' and boys' tennis and football. Emphasis is place on fundamental development and fun! All camps are available for students currently in grades 1- 8; some camps accept younger athletes as well.
