Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

Isaiah proclaims, "Turn to the Lord for mercy, to our God who is generous in forgiving." What a comforting exhortation! Forgiveness is ours if we but turn to God - turn our hearts, our minds, our desires, our expectations, our whole selves. Today you are issued this invitation to experience the generous forgiveness of your God.

                              ADORATION NEWS
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him!

Jesus wants our love. He wants us to visit Him in prayer, adoration and thanks. We
need Jesus, for He can untie things that are now knotted in our lives. So in prayer and adoration let us turn to Him in the Adoration Chapel.

The Adoration Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open hours: Tuesday 2:00 a.m., Tuesday 4:00 a.m. and Tuesday 8:00 p.m. For information call 763-788- 4729 or 612-781-4806. Thank you!
                               FUN'D RAISER

Our Confirmation Candidates are sponsoring an Aluminum Recycling Drive to help purchase new tables and chairs for Kolbe Center. The cost for the tables and chairs totals approximately $17,000. To date we have $8,69.40. The cost of one table and ten chairs is $600.00. Bags of aluminum cans (pop or beer) can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory. This past week the Tuesday Toilers crushed a huge amount of cans! Thank you, thank you. Keep those cans coming! Questions? Call Sister Benita evenings at 612-789-9168.
