· Clean-up in the parish kitchen beginning at 9:30 AM.

      All help is very much welcome and needed.

· Confirmation class 6:30-7:30 PM in the school.

· AA & Alanon 7:30 PM in Kennedy Hall.

Friday, September 25

· Confessions at 6:15 in Polish, Mass and Devotions at 7:00 PM in Church.

Saturday, September 26

· Polish Saturday School 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Sunday, September 27

· Sunday School starts during the 10:00 AM Mass.

· Library open after the 10:00 AM Mass.

24 HOURS A FRANCISCAN - Immerse yourself in the life of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and help us with our ministry.  For women 19 and older interested in a life as a Franciscan Sister.  Sept. 26-27, Saturday noon till Sunday noon, 8336 Johnson Ave S, Bloomington, MN.  Contact Sister Patricia 952-835-2285.

2009 TOUCH OF LEBANON FESTIVAL - St. Maron Catholic Church, 602 University Avenue N.E., presents their 18th Annual Touch of Lebanon Festival Saturday, September 26th from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday, September 27th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM rain or shine.  Featuring Lebanese Superstar Amin Sultan with performances by Cedars Dabke Group and DJ U.B.  Delicious foods & desserts, Liver entertainment and dancing, Games and prizes for the kids, raffles and silent auction.  Questions: 612-379-2758.

N.E. CLEAN-UP DAYS - The Northeast Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Northeast Lions Club, Waste Management and Tom’s Style and Tanning, invite your neighborhood group or faith community to participate in this fall’s community clean up days, Weed It and Reap on October 1, 2 and 3.  The areas of greatest need are identified by the Chamber but you are welcome to cleanup in your neighborhood or near your place of worship.   Call 612-378-0050 for more information or to register.

THIRD WARD SUMMIT/NEIGHBORHOODFEST  - Diane Hofstede invites you to the Third Ward Summit/Neighborhoodfest on Wed., September 23, Nicollet Island Pavilion  - 40 Power St. Minneapolis.  It will be a forum on Economic Development and the Mississippi Riverfront.  .Food and registration at 6:00 PM. Introductions, program and 3rd Ward update at 7:00 PM. Creative displays, entertainment, bands, comedians and networking to follow.

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR OUR CATHEDRAL - Our beautiful Cathedral of Saint Paul requires everyone’s help!  Please consider a sacrificial gift for this collection to assist with the remaining $12.7 million for the emergency exterior restoration.  Many thanks to all those who generously contributed to last year’s collection to care for our Mother Church.  All gifts received in this special collection will be designated and restricted to the restoration needs of the Cathedral.  Holy Cross Parish will have a second collection for the Cathedral the weekend of Sept. 26 & 27.
