SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR OUR CATHEDRAL  Our beautiful Cathedral of Saint Paul requires everyone’s help!  We urgently need to finish paying for the $30 million replacement of the copper dome and roof.  Please consider making a sacrificial gift for this collection to assist with this remaining $13 million debt.  The Cathedral Heritage Foundation has been established to address our Cathedral’s restoration needs - none of the funds from this collection will go to the Cathedral parish nor Archdiocese.  Envelopes for this collection on September 13-14 are available at the doors of the church.  Checks should be made out to the Cathedral Heritage Foundation.  For information call 651-228-1766.
Text Box: MESSAGE FROM FATHER JENSON This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Cross, which is the patronal feast of Holy Cross Parish. This feast honors the cross itself as the instrument of our salvation because on it the Son of God paid the price for our sins. In dying to that which is destructive within us, just as Christ died on the cross, we find the means to healing and rebirth. God does not overlook the effects of sin in our lives and in our world, but he does offer us the means to overcome it and to be healed from its effects. May we take up the cross in our lives that we may know true rebirth and lasting joy. Praised be the cross of Jesus. Its good to get away, and its good to get home again. My trip to Spokane was wonderful and refreshing. I enjoyed the train ride as much as my time in Washington state. It is hard to imagine just how big this country is until you roll across it and watch the terrain change from the flat lands of the prairies to the glories of the mountains out west. The variety of people whom you meet and visit with in the dining car was also a delight. Talking with people is not so much done on a plane, but on the train, it’s half the fun. People are as wonderful to encounter as the beauty of nature, we are all wonders of nature in God’s plan. Father Glen Jenson

BAKE SALE & RAFFLE - This weekend after the 4:30 Mass and after all the Sunday morning Masses the Polish Rosary Society is sponsoring a Bake Sale & Raffle in Kolbe Center.  Everyone is welcome.

COFFEE AND DONUT SUNDAY - We are hosting a Coffee & Donut Sunday after all morning Masses TODAY in Kolbe Center.  This is a great opportunity to come and visit with fellow parishioners.  All are welcome.
