CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION Confirmation class begins Wednesday, Sept. 16 with Deacon John Belian.  This class is for:

 

¨ Students who are in grades 8 & 9 or older.  This includes students who attend public school and those who attend Catholic school.

FAMILY HOLY HOUR - Join other families from our diocese for a Family Holy Hour TODAY Sunday, September 13th at Holy Cross.  Father Glen Jenson will lead the Holy Hour; a special afternoon of music, prayer, Adoration, Benediction and reflection.  Confessions start at 2:15 PM and Adoration at 3:00 PM.  Bring a snack to share! Families should enjoy fellowship in Kolbe Hall after prayer. 

FALL FESTIVAL - All Saints Church, 435 Fifth Street N.E. is having their Fall Festival  TODAY Sunday, September 13th.  There will be Mass at 10 AM and the Festival from 11 AM to 5 PM.  There will be a Flea Market, food, games, bingo and fun for all.

H0LY CROSS BIBLE STUDY - Step Three in Jeff Cavins’ The Great Adventure Bible Study Program, Adventures in Acts: the Spread of the Kingdom, builds on The Bible Timeline and Adventures in Matthew by showing how Christ’s Kingdom on earth is empowered to carry out his work in the world.  The book of Acts shows the Church, enlivened by the Holy Spirit, teaching, preaching, healing, and restoring outcasts in the same way that Jesus did on earth.  The Acts of the Apostles provides an historical framework for understanding the rest of the New Testament.    Holy Cross will offer this video series on Sunday evenings in a two-year time frame.  Classes for 2009-2010 will begin in October.  Watch for sign up information in an upcoming bulletin.
