HURRICANE KATRINA COLLECTION

You have witnessed the terrible devastation and widespread misery caused by Hurricane Katrina on TV and in the newspaper. The loss of life in and eradication of whole communities in large sections of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama are almost beyond our capacity to comprehend. We also grieve and pray for the many thousands of families and individuals who continue to suffer from this horrific cataclysm of nature.

I ask you, please, to show your generosity to all these suffering people in the South. Donation checks to assist these victims of Hurricane Katrina may be made payable to the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis marked "2005 Hurricane Relief Fund." Forward all donations to: Accounting, The Chancery, 226 Summit Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102. All proceeds will be sent to Catholic Charities to provide for the needs of the victims of one of the worst natural disasters in our country's recent history.
                                                                                 Archbishop Harry Flynn
