Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION Any of us would jump for joy and make it known if we were suddenly cured of some affliction. We use modern medicine to not only cure disease, but even to get rid of minor annoyances. With such powerful tools of healing at our disposal day and night, we often lose sight of the everyday miracles that happen when we take an aspirin or get a cavity filled. Jesus’ cure of the deaf man with a speech impediment in today’s Gospel was certainly extraordinary! None of us could do such a work, and not even a doctor could just use a little spittle to heal such afflictions. But the healing work of Christ continues this day in clinics, hospitals, and doctors offices around the world. We can praise God for these wondrous things and give God thanks for the wisdom and insight bestowed on this world.

THE FAMILY OF ROSE SCHUTTA wants to sincerely thank Father David, Sister Benita and Sister Donna for the beautiful prayer service and funeral mass.  Everyone’s prayers and kind words during this time were appreciated by the entire family.  A special thank you to the soloist and organist - the music during the Mass was very moving.  We also want to thank the Holy Cross Funeral Luncheon Committee for the wonderful luncheon.

COFFEE AND DONUTS TODAY after all morning Masses in Kolbe Center.  Come and visit with fellow parishioners.  We need people to help host the Coffee and Donut Sunday.  We provide all the supplies - all you have to do is serve and clean up.  If you, your family, or group would be interested in hosting a Coffee & Donut Sunday, please call the Parish Office.

POLISH ROSARY BAKE SALE in Kolbe Center this weekend after the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday and after all the morning Masses on Sunday.
