Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

The Holy Spirit gathers us together today so that we might open our ears to hear the voice of God. We sing joyfully to the Lord, who is the rock of our salvation. St. Peter reminds us of the great commandment in today’s second reading. “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” In the celebration of the Mass we are nourished by word and sacrament so that we may be strengthened to respond to that commandment to love one another. Let our three parishes resound with that love as the living word is proclaimed in our midst.

Father Glen Jenson

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR OUR CATHEDRAL  Our beautiful Cathedral of Saint Paul requires everyone’s help!  We urgently need to finish paying for the $30 million replacement of the copper dome and roof.  Please consider making a sacrificial gift for this collection to assist with this remaining $13 million debt.  The Cathedral Heritage Foundation has been established to address our Cathedral’s restoration needs - none of the funds from this collection will go to the Cathedral parish nor Archdiocese.  Envelopes for this collection on September 13-14 will be available at the doors of the church.  Checks should be made out to the Cathedral Heritage Foundation.  For information call 651-228-1766.

ATTENTION ENGLISH ALTAR AND ROSARY GUILD MEMBERS - The English Altar and Rosary Guild will meet this Monday, September 8 at 7:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  Rose 102 will provide refreshments.

Please remember Holy Cross Parish

in your Will.
