Our Fall Festival is two weeks away. We need your help:

FALL FESTIVAL RAFFLE TICKETS - Buy and/or sell them. We have extras at the Rectory.

FLEA MARKET - Bring clean useable items to the garages behind the Rectory Monday thru Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No TV's, large furniture or clothing.

FANCY BOOTH - Crochet, knit, carve, paint, holiday ornaments, dish towels, etc.

MYSTERY GIFTS - Start collecting donations of "mystery" gifts for people of all ages. Useable items only please. Bring to the Rectory.

BOTTLEMANIA - Any item in a bottle or a jar - peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, ice cream topping, etc. Also, things that would be of interest to children. If it fits in a bottle, it will work.

VOLUNTEER - We always need lots of volunteers. Call one of the people listed on the insert and VOLUNTEER!

ARTS AND CRAFTS - Design a theme basket. Pick a theme and fill a basket relating to your theme.

FALL FESTIVAL MEETING Tuesday, September 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pioneer Room. This meeting is open to all parishioners. All chair people are asked to attend.
SILENT AUCTION AT THE HOLY CROSS FALL FESTIVAL! New at the Holy Cross Fall Festival will be a "Silent Auction" featuring tickets to sporting events and entertainment, autographed sports memorabilia, art, collector dolls, dinners, and more. Participants will be given a bidding number and they will use that number to anonymously place their bids. The Silent Auction will be located in the center of the parking lot across from the school. Be sure to check out this exciting new booth!!
NEXT SUNDAY, Sept. 12, we will have Coffee Coffee and Donut Sunday after all Sunday morning Masses in Kolbe Center. Come and visit with fellow parishioners. If you would be interested in hosting a Coffee & Donut Sunday, call Amy at 612-781-3271 for information.

HAPPENINGS BOOKS - Back again this year the Educational Task Force will be selling Happenings Books. The price is $25.00 per book with many buy one, get one free coupons and 50% discounts on car washes and other items. ESL CLASSES - PACIM in association with the Minnesota Literacy Council will be offering English as a Second Language classes this fall. Classes will begin in September and run through May. Space is limited. If interested, call Steve at 612-822-2322 for information.
CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES - If you are interested in helping the Florida victims of Hurricane Charley and would like to make a donation, please make checks payable to the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis and marked "Catholic Relief Services". Please forward to Catholic Relief Services, c/o The Chancery, 226 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55102. All proceeds will be sent to provide for those suffering from this terrible devastation.
