RAFFLE TICKETS - Buy and/or sell your Raffle tickets - we have more at the Rectory.
FLEA MARKET - Bring items to the garage behind the Rectory Monday thru Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No clothing or TV's please.
FANCY BOOTH - Theme baskets, crochet, knit, carve, holiday decorations, etc. Items can be brought to the Rectory weekdays.
PARCEL POST - Donations of "mystery" gifts for people of all ages for the Parcel Post Booth. Useable items for this booth are needed. Mark the bag "Parcel Post" and bring them to the Rectory.
BIG WHEEL - Lots of prizes are needed for this booth. Could you or your place of employment donate an item to the Holy Cross Fall Festival?
BOTTLEMANIA - Buy items for Bottlemania - any item in a bottle will be greatly appreciated - shampoo, soap, hand lotion, pop, ketchup, etc.
PICK UP PRIZES - Some local businesses have called and asked that a prize be picked up. We need someone to do the pick ups.
VOLUNTEER TO WORK - We need lots of volunteers.

 VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED in the Dining Room and to price items for the Flea Market. If you can work a shift in the Dining Room (10:30 to 1 :00 or 1 :00 to 3:30) please call the Rectory and let us know. Cindy Glpsky is on medical leave and will not be calling you. Please don't assume that we know "you work every year." The Flea Market items are located in the school and we need people to price them. Call Janice at the Rectory weekdays at 612-789-7238 for the times when the Flea Market items will be priced or to volunteer to work in the Dining Room.
 RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - If you have not yet registered for CCD and First Communion Classes for the next school year, it's not too late! You may come to the Sacristy after Mass or call Sister Donna evenings at 612-789-9168. This includes: (1) All children who attend public school and who will be in grades 1-8 next school year. (2) Children who will be in grade 2 in preparation for First Holy Communion, whether they attend public school or Northeast Regional Catholic School.

                      CATHOLIC SCHOOL NEWS
On September 3, Northeast Regional Catholic School will open for the 2002-2003 school year. We ask that everyone keep the students, faculty and staff in your prayers for a safe, happy and educational year! Please know you are always welcome and encouraged to visit and see first hand the wonderful programs being offered. We will be asking for your support throughout the year and know how appreciative the school is when we receive it. This is your parish school and we need to work together for Northeast Regional Catholic School to be a success.
ATTENTION All SENIORS - On Friday, September 6th we will once again begin our Senior First Fridays with a Mass and Meeting at 9:00 a.m. in Kolbe Hall. If needed, our elevator is located by the alley entrance to Kolbe Hall.
COFFEE AND DONUTS next Sunday, September 8th after all morning Masses. Come down after Mass and visit with fellow parishioners. If you would like to host a Coffee and Donut Sunday, call Amy at 612-781-3271 for more information.
ST. JACOB'S SOCIETY is looking for a person who would be willing to take care of answering questions and maintaining records of dues for the Society. If you are interested or have questions call Bernie Szymczak at 763- 788-0352.
