ALL NIGHT VIGIL  - The World Apostolate of Fatima, Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis, is sponsoring an All Night Vigil of reparation and prayer at Church of the Epiphany, 1900-111th Avenue NW, Coon Rapids.  The vigil will begin on Friday, Sept. 4 with Mass at 8:00 PM and will conclude with Mass at 4:00 AM on Saturday, September 5th.  Everyone is invited to attend all or part of this devotion.  Contact person: Patrick 763-755-1020.

DEVOTIONS - First Saturday Devotions will be here at Holy Cross this Sat., September 5 at 7:45 AM with praying of the first three decades of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 AM.  After Mass our devotions will continue with praying of the final two decades of the Rosary, prayer and meditation.  All are welcome.

FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER SIGN UP - We need everyone’s help to make our Fall Festival a huge success.  Please check the many areas that need volunteers and sign up.  It’s a great opportunity to meet your fellow parishioners and have fun too!!

EAST SIDE OLD TIMERS REUNION - The East Side Old Timers would like to invite all fellows who at one time or another engaged or sponsored sports on the east side or southeast communities to a 55th Reunion.  All players and coaches are invited to celebrate this anniversary with the “Old Timers.”  Event will be Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Holy Cross Kolbe Center, 17th Avenue and 4th Street N.E.  Tickets can be purchased at the Holy Cross parish office for $5.00 or at the door the evening of the event for $6.00.

MASS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES - The Archdiocesan Outreach to persons with disabilities invites you to the Archbishop’s Annual Mass for persons with disabilities on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM at St. Mary’s Chapel at the St. Paul Seminary, 2260 Summit Avenue in St. Paul.  There will be a sing-a-long at 2:30 PM and refreshments after Mass.  This year’s celebrant will be Bishop Piché.

FALL FESTIVAL FLEA MARKET - Donations are  still  needed!  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Please, no clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Bring items to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Questions?  612-789-7238 weekdays.
