Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

Things that come from within are what defile a person. These words of Jesus in our Gospel remind us that how we form our mind and heart through our prayer, acts of kindness and keeping good company, makes a difference in how we turn out as a person. Our inner life needs as much attention as our job or our recreational activities. Forming the inner person is what our Catholic Schools and Religious Education programs are all about. Being able to discern right from wrong and having the courage to do so despite the example of others takes more than just wishing you could be able to do that. It takes work, just like everything else in life that is worthwhile. Check out our Northeast Catholic School, Pope John Paul II, now registering for the coming academic year. Information on Religious Education registration will be coming soon. The Eucharistic Adoration chapel for Northeast, in the convent at Holy Cross, is also an excellent place to discover how to acquire the strength of God for your personal growth in inner goodness. Call the office at Holy Cross or myself if you have any questions about the chapel.

Tour: On Wednesday, September 30 we will be having our second annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Last year this wonderful experience was a sell out and is back by popular demand. Please contact the church office at Holy Cross for information if you have questions, or see tour brochures in church.
