                                        HOLY CROSS
                                     FALL FESTIVAL!
                                       September 18 & 19

Think about what you can do for our Fall Festival. Here are some ideas:

FALL FESTIVAL RAFFLE TICKETS - Buy and/or sell them. We have extras at the Rectory.

FLEA MARKET - Bring items to the garages behind the Rectory Monday thru Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. No TV's, large furniture or clothing.

FANCY BOOTH - Crochet, knit, carve, paint, holiday ornaments, dish towels, etc.

MYSTERY GIFTS - Start collecting (searching) for donations of "mystery" gifts for people of all ages. Useable items only please. Bring to the Rectory.

BOTTLEMANIA - Any item in a bottle or a jar - peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, ice cream topping, etc. It has been suggested that "Bottlemania" also contain something that would be of interest to children. Anything that fits in a bottle will work. Bring to the Rectory.

VOLUNTEER - We always need lots of volunteers. Think of where you would like to volunteer your time to work by calling the Rectory weekdays. See the notice at the bottom of this page.

ARTS AND CRAFTS - Design a theme basket. Pick a theme - Candles, Baseball Cards, Apple Pie, Books, etc. - and fill a basket relating to your theme.

Questions? Call the Rectory weekdays 612-789-7238.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to chair the following areas of the Fall Festival:
                                            Flea Market
                                           Grounds
                                           Night Watch

You will have experienced people to help and advise you. Perhaps several friends, a couple or a family would like to chair an area. If you saw this notice in last's week bulletin and told yourself that you'd call if the need still exists next week, now is the time to call! We need your help! For information or to volunteer, call Janice at the Rectory - 612-789-7238.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO SAVE ALUMINUM CANS. The money raised from recycling the aluminum goes toward the "Continuing Our Tradition" Campaign and your help makes a big difference! Bags of aluminum can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory. Thank you!
