AT THE FAIR IN PRAYER - Minnesota
State Fair Prayer!
Another way to celebrate the Great Minnesota Get- Together. On Sunday, August
25th at 8:30 a.m., you are invited to join other people of faith from throughout
Minnesota to pray in gratitude for God's many blessings which nourish and
sustain us - dedicated farmers, abundant resources, and food in great variety
and measure. There will be music (also before the service), a litany, reading of
the Word, short reflection, and blessing of the crops, natural resources, and
animals. Gather at the Bandshell (next to the "Needle") and begin your
day "At The Fair in Prayer!" Sponsored by the Ecumenical Rural
Concerns Group and the Rural Life Office of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul &
Minneapolis. |
