Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

The wisdom of God has come down upon the earth much like the manna fell in the desert for the Hebrew people. God’s truth exists in the natural law that guides humankind. God’s wisdom is revealed in the created world, since the creation reflects the Creator.

Jesus is that ultimate revelation of God who has come down from heaven. In today’s Gospel, there were those who questioned Jesus’ pronouncement of who he was. But for those who believe, he is nothing less than the incarnate Word, made flesh and dwelling among us. Christ gives us himself in Word, so that we may be taught by God, and in sacrament, so that we may be nourished for eternal life.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Let JESUS, who is faithful and true, posses you.  Strong is HIS love for you.  JESUS is waiting in the Adoration Chapel - true GOD and true MAN - awaiting your visits.  JESUS waits for you, longs for you.  Go to HIM in the Adoration Chapel for a quiet hour of adoration.

Chose an hour.  Open hours: Sunday 2:00 p.m., Tuesday 10:00 a.m., Tuesday 11:00 a.m., Friday 5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m., Saturday 12:00 noon.  For information call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806.

WHAT IS A MAIL-BACK ENVELOPE?  A “mail-back envelope” is included in your envelope set.  Parishioners can simply place their check offering into the mail-back envelope when they are unable to attend Mass and drop it into the mail.  It provides an easy way to members to support the parish when they are not able to participate in the Sunday liturgy at Holy Cross.

THE FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION, a Holy Day of Obligation, is Tuesday, August 15th.  Masses on the Holy Day will be at 6:45 a.m., 12:00 noon, 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Polish).

Please remember Holy Cross Parish

in your Will.
