Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

The story of the loaves and the fishes is found in every Gospel, so important was the remembrance of this event to the early Church. Every one of the stories has variations on the Eucharistic actions of Jesus at the Last Supper: took, blessed, broke, gave. In today’s Gospel, “Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed them to those who were reclining” (John 6:11).

The Eucharist we share each Sunday is its own miracle in a way. Jesus nourishes us with his Body and Blood. We are given the strength for daily life, no less than the crowds in the field, who were fed with bread and fish.

HOLY CROSS PRAYER LINE

Call 612-789-7238 weekdays or

leave a message at 763-572-1713.

WHAT IS A MAIL-BACK ENVELOPE?  A “mail-back envelope” is included in your envelope set.  Parishioners can simply place their check offering into the mail-back envelope when they are unable to attend Mass and drop it into the mail.  It provides an easy way to members to support the parish when they are not able to participate in the Sunday liturgy at Holy Cross.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

”Where your treasure is, there is your heart…”  Could you not watch one hour with ME? (Mt. 6:21; 26:40)  Let us spend one quiet hour with Jesus each week in the Adoration Chapel.  When you look upon the Sacred Host, you look upon Jesus.

Visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel.  Open hours: Sunday 2:00 p.m., Tuesday 10:00 a.m., Tuesday 11:00 a.m., Friday 5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m., Saturday 12:00 noon and For information call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806.  Thank you.
