Welcome to Church of Holy Cross

BULLETIN CONNECTION

It is a common maxim to proclaim that we spend time or money on what we value. Whether it is a fast car, good food, charitable giving, attendance at children's sporting events, or volunteering for a cause; if we didn't find a value in it, we wouldn't buy it or do it.

The parables in today's Gospel suggest the same thing. Where our treasure is, there our heart lies. When we find the right pearl, we'll do anything to get it.

Summertime gives many of us a break from the routine of the rest of the year. Many of us take at least some vacation time during the summer months. Maybe we can take a little time to consider what we do with all we earn and how we allocate our time during the year. Are we using our resources wisely? Is what we have, what we really need? What is our pearl, our treasure?

THE PEACE MASS at Holy Cross will be on Tuesday, July 26. Rosary at 6:30 p.m. and Mass at 7:00 p.m. Receive a copy our Blessed Virgin Mary's message given to the world six hours before. Refreshments to follow.

                        PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC
                                  ADORATION

               Make a Sacrificial Holy Hour

In the middle of the night in the Garden at Gethsemane Christ asked His apostles: "Could you not watch one hour with Me?" (Matthew 26:40) And HE is still asking the question: "Can you not watch one hour with ME?"

The Stations of the Cross are a continual reminder of the Passion and Death of Our Lord and should serve as a never-ending source for meditation during a Holy Hour.

Come during the night to Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Adore HIM. Plead with HIM. Make reparation to HIM for your sins. Thank HIM for all the good things in your life.
