FATHER GLEN’S THOUGHTS….. Our Lord speaks of bearing fruit abundantly in our Gospel this weekend. There are so many ways that we can do this for the Lord. Our kindness to others is one very important way of doing this. This weekend we have our summer missionary for his appeal. I urge you to be as generous as your circumstances permit with the second collection for the church back in his diocese in Africa. Father Glen Jenson, Pastor |

OFFERTORY COLLECTION - July 3, 2011 Sunday Collection - $6,407.00 Thank you! |
MISSION APPEAL - The Second Collection today is for the Catholic Diocese of Same (pronounced SAH mee), located in the northeastern part of Tanzania, in the Kilimanjaro Region. Tanzania itself is located in the eastern part of Africa. The Diocese of Same has been requested by the villagers of Mabillion to help them build a medical clinic. The people themselves will supply all of the unskilled labor; we only ask for help with building materials and medical supplies. This is an opportunity not only for you to share your resources with some of the poorest people in the world, but also for you to build the body of Christ in Africa. Please be generous. |
SUMMER IS HERE and many people are going to the cabin or traveling more. Please don’t forget your home parish by using the “mail back envelope” in your packet for convenience. Our expenses continue and we are working on several summer repair projects. Your help is needed and most appreciated. Thank you! |
