DEVOTIONS - First Saturday Devotions will be held this Saturday, July 5 at Holy Cross at 7:45 AM with praying of the first three decades of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 AM.  After Mass our devotions will continue with the praying of the final two decades of the Rosary, prayer and meditation.

ALL NIGHT VIGIL - The World Apostolate of Fatima of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis is sponsoring an All-Night Vigil of prayer and reparation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1154 Seminole Avenue, West St. Paul.  The vigil begins on Friday, July 4 at 8:00 PM, and closes on Saturday, July 5, with Mass at 4:00 a.m.  Everyone is invited to attend all or some of this devotion.  651-457-3285.

SAVE ALUMINUM CANS - Please continue to save aluminum cans.  The monies raised from the recycling goes towards the “Church Painting Fund” and your help is appreciated.  Bags of aluminum cans (pop and beer only) can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or the garages behind the rectory.

THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE” (former Garage Sale) will be August 6, 7 & 8 - Wednesday through Friday.  Donations are needed!  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Perhaps you can donate a box or a couple of bags of things you no longer use.  No clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Bring donations to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

OFFICE CLOSED - The Parish Office will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.  The office will reopen on Monday, July 7th at 8:00 AM.

NAME CHANGE FOR SILVER ANGEL Silver Angel Thrift Store has recently changed its name and location to East Side Thrift Store, 1928 Central Avenue, just two doors north of its previous location.    Store hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-6, Wednesday from 10-7 and Saturday from 10-5.

THE EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL WILL BE CLOSED on Friday, July 4, Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6.  The Chapel will reopen Monday, July 7 at 6:00 AM.

“DATE NIGHT” ON MISSISSIPPI RIVER - Calling all engaged and married couples!  Celebrate Natural Family Planning Week (July 20-26) by attending a “Date Night.”  The boat leaves Harriet Island, traveling to Fort Snelling, and returning to the night lights of St. Paul.  The cost is $35/couple which includes dessert and refreshments.  A cash bar will be available.  The night provides a chance to meet other couples.  The event is sponsored by the Office for Marriage, Family and Life.  Download a registration form at www.archspm.org/family/ under Upcoming Events or call 651-291-4488.
