MESSAGE FROM

FATHER JENSON

 

 

We see Jesus raise the synagogue official’s daughter to life in the Gospel this Sunday and heal the woman suffering with hemorrhages.  The power that Jesus has as the Lord of life is immense.  God holds our life in his hand.  Turn to him with all the concerns of our daily life.  He is our shelter in the midst of the trials of life.  To respect our free will and ability to choose to believe in him or not, physical healing miracles are not always given to us.  But a healing in spirit to get through suffering is always offered to those who will accept it.  God’s ways are mysterious, but he has a plan for us.

 

The priests of the Archdiocese have just been in Rochester for our bi-annual assembly last week. This Monday, June 29, our new auxiliary bishop will be ordained, Bishop Lee Piché.   He has roots in Northeast which will help him to be wonderful as a bishop.  The next day, Tuesday, June 30^th, I will leave on vacation with two other priests for the North Shore of Lake Superior.  I have heard the call of the lake and am answering that call wholeheartedly.  I will return Wednesday, July 8.  All masses are covered in the absence of both myself and Fr. Waldemar.

THE FAMILY OF JOANNE ZAWORSKI wishes to thank Father Glen for the beautiful Funeral Mass.  Thank you also to Sister Benita, Sister Donna, the organist, soloist, Funeral Luncheon Committee and many friends for their prayers and acts of kindness.  We are grateful.
