PRAYER SHAWL - Please join us!!  We need all skills (sew, crochet, knit, fleece tie or sewing labels).  We meet on Tuesday, June 29th at 6:30 PM in the Parish Library.  If you would like to work at home, stop by a meeting and see the shawls and get copies of prayers, patterns/ideas and size guidelines.  For more information call the Parish Office at 612-789-7238 or Mary at 612-379-4090.

DEVOTIONS - First Saturday Devotions will be held this Saturday, July 3, at Holy Cross at 7:45 AM with praying of the first three decades  of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 AM.  After Mass devotions will continue with praying of the final two decades of the Rosary, prayer and meditation.

ALL NIGHT VIGIL - The World Apostolate of Fatima, Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis, is sponsoring an All Night Vigil of reparation and prayer at Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Avenue, West St. Paul.  The vigil will begin on Friday, July 2 with confessions at 8:00 PM followed by the Rosary and Mass at 9:00 PM and will conclude with Mass at 4:00 AM on Saturday, July 3.  Everyone is invited to attend all or part of this devotion.  Contact person: Ellie at 651-457-3285.

FESTIVAL SILENT AUCTION ITEMS - We need your help!!  If you think of or come across an item that would be good for the Silent Auction at our Fall Festival, please remember your church.  Start collecting items now.  If you have questions, please call the Parish Office weekdays at 612-789-7238.

OLAN MILLS - SMILE!!  Holy Cross Parish will work with Olan Mills Studios to publish a Parish Pictorial Directory.  Put names with faces - connect with people - be part of history as we celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Holy Cross next year.  Photo dates at Holy Cross will be October 4 thru 9 and October 11 & 12, 2010.

MYSTERY GIFTS - The Polish Rosary Society has started collecting items for the Mystery Gift Booth at our Fall Festival.  They are looking for good useable items for all ages.  Do you have good items around your house that you can donate.  Bring these items to the Parish Office weekdays during office hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or leave them in the sacristy marked “Mystery Booth.”

THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE” will be August 4, 5 & 6 - Wednesday through Friday.  Donations are needed.  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Donate things in your home that take up space and are never used.  No clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Donations can be brought to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

HOLY CROSS PARISH CALENDAR - We have placed copies of the 2010-2011 Parish Calendar at the doors of the church.  You are welcome to take one.

MARIAN PILGRIMAGE - A special Marian Pilgrimage from the Twin Cities will visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois, July 30 - August 2, 2010.  The cost of the entire trip by bus, lodging at the Shrine Motel, three nights, six meals and a trip to St. Louis is only $420.00.  Please register early.  For more information and registration call Marie at 651-587-1439.

HEALING RETREAT - A special Healing Retreat will be held at Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo, Minnesota.  The retreat begins on Friday, July 23 at 7:00 PM and concludes on Sunday, July 25 at 12:45 PM.  Men and women of the parish are cordially invited to a beautiful inexpensive, lakeside weekend of wonderful relaxation, inspiration and spiritual rejuvenation.  For more information and a registration form, call 763-682-1394.

FEAST DAY OF GOD THE FATHER OF ALL MANKIND - The 11th Annual Feast Day Mass for God the Father will be held on August 1st at St. Bonaventure Church, 910 E. 90th Street in Bloomington at 1:00 PM.  The celebrant will be Father Bernard Reiser.  This also includes 8 days of consecration prayers which will start at home on July 25th.  For more information and needed items please call Rose at 952-938-5913.
