Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

LET IT GO!

"Don't sweat the small stuff' seems to express Jesus' attitude toward the Samaritans not wanting Him in their town. The disciples craved revenge for the snub but Jesus simply led them to another place where they were welcome. He was going to Jerusalem where He knew He would be executed. The feud in which the Samaritans were engaged was the least of His concerns. This week, ask for the grace to know what is truly important enough to invest your energy in it.

This week letters were sent regarding the "Continuing Our Tradition" campaign at Holy Cross. With the campaign at midpoint, the letter you receive does one of the following:

  1. If you have pledged, you received a summary of amount paid to date and any remaining balance.

  2. If you have not contributed in any way to the campaign, you are asked to prayerfully consider a gift (one time, larger gift or a monthly donation) using the yellow "Continuing Our Tradition" envelope in your envelope packet.

  3. If you have completed your pledge or in the past made a larger gift, you are asked to consider another gift or pledge at this time.
   4. If you are a new parishioner, the letter explains what this campaign is about and how you can help.

With 2 1/2 years to go, everyone is asked to be attentive to helping in this effort. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the parish office during the week.

Thank you!
