MYSTERY GIFTS - The Polish Rosary Society is collecting items for the Mystery Gift Booth at our Fall Festival.  They are looking for good useable items for all ages.  Do you have good items around your house that you can donate.  Bring these items to the Parish Office weekdays during office hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or leave them in the sacristy marked “Mystery Booth.”

THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE will be August 3, 4 & 5 - Wednesday thru Friday.  Please save your “good stuff” for the parish rummage sale.  Almost everyone has things that take up space and are never used.  No clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Donations can be brought to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY - Here is your chance to use your skills (sew, crochet, knit, fleece tie or sew labels) and be a part of this great ministry.  Join us on Tuesday, June 28th at 6:30 PM in the Parish Library.  If you would like to work at home, stop by a meeting and see the shawls and get copies of prayers, patterns/ideas and guidelines.  If you would like more information about this Ministry or have questions call the Parish Office at 612-789-7238 or Mary at 612-379-4090.

VIGIL OF REPARATION - Please join us for a Vigil of Reparation, Friday and Saturday, July 1 and 2, 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Avenue, West St. Paul.  Vigil begins with Rosary, followed by the Mass of the Sacred Heart at 7:30 PM, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, concluding with Mass of the Immaculate Heart at Midnight and the Rosary.  Contact Ellie at 651-457-3285 for more information.  All are invited to spend all or part of the evening.  Sponsored by the World Apostolate of Fatima.

RETREAT FOR MARRIED COUPLES - A special retreat for married couples will be held at Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo, Minnesota on July 8-10, 2011.  The retreat begins on Friday at 7:00 PM and concludes on Sunday, July 10 at 12:45 PM.  The retreat will be conducted by Dick and Rosemarie Rice.  The theme of the retreat is “The Parables of Jesus: Mirrors of Our Marriage”.  Married couples of this parish are cordially invited to a beautiful, inexpensive, lakeside weekend of wonderful relaxation and spiritual rejuvenation.  Please call 763-682-1394 for a registration form and more information or visit our website at www.kingshouse.com.
Text Box: HOLY CROSS 125th ANNIVERSARY Approximately 70 “Hall of Faith” 125th Anniversary Plaques are now hanging on the wall by Kolbe Center. Take a minute to stop and look at this unique tribute to the history of our parish and our loved ones. Order forms are available at the doors of the church. Invitations to the Anniversary Banquet on Sunday, September 11 will be mailed the first week of July. All parishioners and friends of the parish are invited to the celebration. The Holy Cross Church 5 x 7” note cards are available at the parish office weekdays for $1.00 each. The artist who painted the water color of the church is Darlene Dusenka. Anniversary Family Bingo will be Sunday, October 16.
