PARISH PICNIC - The Holy Cross Pot-Luck Picnic is Thursday, June 26, 2008.  The event begins with prayer at 6:00 PM followed by food and games.  Hot dogs, buns, chips, coffee, mustard, catsup and paper goods will be provided.  Please bring your own cold beverages.  Also, please bring one dish to share “Pot-Luck” style - a salad, hot dish, dessert, etc.  Everyone is invited. Reservations required by Sunday, June 22.


SAVE ALUMINUM CANS - Please continue to save aluminum cans.  The monies raised from the recycling goes towards the “Church Painting Fund” and your help is appreciated.  Bags of aluminum cans (pop and beer only) can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or the garages behind the rectory.

THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE” (former Garage Sale) will be August 6, 7 & 8 - Wednesday through Friday.  Donations are needed!  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Perhaps you can donate a box or a couple of bags of things you no longer use.  No clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Bring donations to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

ST. CLEMENT MASS TIME CHANGE - On July 1 there will be a Mass time change at St. Clement Church.  The weekend Mass schedule will be: Saturday 5:30 PM and Sunday morning 7:30, 9:00 and 10:30 AM.  The weekday Mass schedule will remain at 7:45 AM.

EAST SIDE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES THRIFT STORE UPDATE - Silver Angel Thrift Store has recently changed its name and location to East Side Thrift Store, 1928 Central Avenue, just two doors north of its previous location.  The Grand Opening will be held at the store on Saturday, June 28th with refreshments and “Get Acquainted” sales.  Leading up to the Grand Opening from June 24 to June 27, the store will offer great sales and promotions.  Store hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-6, Wednesday from 10-7 and Saturday from 10-5.
