BE QUIET!
Jesus teaches the apostles something He learned from Mary, His mother - that when you don't understand fully what God is doing in your life you allow your awareness of His presence to rest quietly in your heart. Peter gave the right answer - that Jesus was the Messiah - but did he understand what that would mean not only for Jesus but also for himself? Jesus gives him some indication then asks him to just sit quietly with the knowledge. Twice this week, give yourself at least 10 minutes of quiet time and ask Jesus to help you know Him more intimately.

ADORATION NEWS
June 18th was the Feast of the "Most Sacred Heart of
Jesus", and June 19th was the Feast
of the "Immaculate Heart of Mary". This should
remind us of God's love and care for us, and that HE gave HIS Mother to us.
Devotion to the Sacred Heart should bring us to a union with
Jesus who we know truly to be in the Eucharist.
The Adoration Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open
hours: Monday 7:00 a.m., Wednesday 10:00
a.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. and Friday 4:00 p.m. For more
