PETER'S PENCE COLLECTION Goodness Works Quietly is the theme for the 2005 Peter's Pence Collection. Next week, our parish will participate in the Peter's Pence Collection for the Works of the Holy Father. Please join in solidarity with the more than one billion Catholics worldwide in providing immediate emergency and disaster relief to our brothers and sisters through the Pope's special appeal. FREE CONCERT AT ST. ANNE'S -St. Anne's presents the Minnesota Sinfonia in a "Summer Pops Concert" today, June 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the church at 26th and Queen Avenue North, Minneapolis. Children are welcome. Celebrate Father's Day with an evening of delightful music. Refreshments afterwards.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO SAVE ALUMINUM CANS. Bags of aluminum cans (pop or beer only) can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or the garages behind the rectory. Monies received from the aluminum goes towards the Continuing Our Tradition Campaign.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR, 330 South Exchange Street South, St. Paul Annual Summer Festival Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Spaghetti Dinner will be served all day: $8.00 adults, $6.00 children. RURAL LIFE SUNDAY - The Archdiocesan Rural Life Sunday Celebration is next Sunday, June 26, 2005. It begins at 1:30 p.m. and includes the Eucharistic Liturgy of the Sunday with Archbishop Flynn presiding, a blessing of crops and land, and essay and poster contest awards. This year's family fun event is sponsored by the parishes of Holy Trinity (Goodhue), St. Columbkill (Bellecreek), and St. Mary's (Bellechester), and it's being held at the Dave and Ann Buck farm. There will be a hog roast and trimmings (free will offering accepted), music entertainment, farm tour, petting zoo, and games and activities for children.
