Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

When we celebrate the Eucharist, Christ is truly present to us. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, ordinary bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ. While we take this day to honor the sacrament of Christ’s Body and Blood, we recognize that he is present to us at every Mass.

St. Augustine reminds us that when we share in communion we become what we receive: the Body and Blood of Christ. As we go forth from Mass today, we take that real presence of Christ and are to become his presence in the world.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all Fathers, Grandfathers, Step-Fathers, Godfathers and Fathers-to-Be.  May God continue to bless and watch over you and those in your care.  May your father always have a special place in your heart!

CONGRATULATIONS & BLESSINGS

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Today is the Feast Day of the MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST.  Jesus Christ gave HIS Body and Blood.  Let us worship Him during the week in the Adoration Chapel.  In the Chapel we are looking at Jesus who has really given HIMSELF to us.  Because He loves us, let us be generous with our time praying and visiting HIM in the Chapel.

Open hours:      Monday noon; Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Thursday 11:00 a.m.; Thursday 4:00 p.m.; Thursday 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. For information call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806.  Thank you.

Please remember Holy Cross Parish

in your Will.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Holy Cross parishioner Ann Long who celebrates her 95th birthday on June 22nd.  May God continue to bless you.

SIDE YARD WORK - We are having work done on the area between the rectory and convent to correct a water problem in the rectory basement.  Each time there is a heavy rain, water comes into the southeast corner of the rectory basement.  The concrete patio will be replaced with grass to allow for more rain absorption and the ground will be sloped away from the building.

PLEASE KEEP SAVING ALUMINUM CANS - The monies raised from recycling the aluminum will now go toward painting the interior of the Church.  Cans can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory.
