THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE” (former Garage Sale) will be August 6, 7 & 8 - Wednesday through Friday.  Donations are needed!  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Perhaps you can donate a box or a couple of bags of things you no longer use.  No clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Bring donations to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

MASS TIME CHANGE -

On July 1, 2008 there will be a change in the Mass schedule at St. Clement Church.  The weekend Mass schedule will be as follows: Saturday 5:30 PM and Sunday morning 7:30, 9:00 and 10:30 AM.  The weekday Mass schedule will remain at 7:45 AM.

REMODELING SALE - Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel is having a remodeling sale!  Stop by the Chapel Monday and Tuesday, June 16th and 17th from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM.  Items for sale include furniture (sofa, chairs), lamps and accessories.  If you have questions, please call 612-789-8869.

RURAL LIFE CELEBRATION - This year’s Archdiocesan Rural Life Celebration is Sunday, June 22, 2008 beginning at 11:30 AM.  This year’s event is sponsored by the Parish of St. Gregory the Great in North Branch and is being held at the Pam Hughes’ farm.  A pig roast and refreshments will be served (free will offering accepted).  All are welcome.  For more information call the Parish Services Team contact person at 651-290-1647.
Text Box: THE HOLY CROSS FALL FESTIVAL IS AROUND THE CORNER September 20 & 21 Here are some ideas of what can be done now: Make items for the Fancy Booth - crochet, knit, carve, paint, holiday ornaments. Start collecting (searching) for donations of “mystery gifts” for people of all ages for the Parcel Post Booth. Useable items for this booth are needed. Design a theme basket for the Arts and Crafts Booth. Pick a theme - Baking, Golf, Scrap booking, etc. - and fill a basket with items relating to your theme. Think of where you want to volunteer to work. We need and would like lots of volunteers. Questions? Call the Rectory weekdays 612-789-7238.

SAVE ALUMINUM CANS - Please continue to save aluminum cans.  The monies raised from the recycling goes towards the “Church Painting Fund” and your help is appreciated.  Bags of aluminum cans (pop and beer only) can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or the garages behind the rectory.

HELP CATHOLIC THEATER REACH WORLD YOUTH DAY in Australia this summer by attending a fundraising performance for Epiphany Studio Productions.  They’re scheduled to perform 2 plays 3 different times at WYD, impacting countless youth from around the world, but need to pay their way!  See one or both of these plays and support this effort: LOLEK at St. Victoria Church in Victoria, June 20 @ 7 PM; or LOLEK at Holy Spirit Church in St. Paul, June 26 @ 7:30 PM; or ALESSANDRO at Holy Spirit Church, June 27 @ 8:00 PM.  Tickets $15 all shows and available at the door.  Visit: www.EpiphanyStudio.com or call 651-336-3302.
