Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

In our Gospel we hear Jesus forgive a sinful woman who anointed his feet with her tears and precious ointment. Her sorrow for sin brought her complete forgiveness from Jesus. As we see how hard it can be to keep the law of God in the commandments, we realize how much we depend on the mercy of Jesus. None of us can keep the demands of the law perfectly. None of us can merit heaven therefore. Thanks be to God for his wonderful forgiving mercy. Genuine contrition brings his forgiveness always. Our God is beyond words to describe his love for us. On his loving mercy we depend for eternal life. May we take advantage of these summer days to spend time with him in prayer and worship, and give him thanks for the wonders of his creation in which so many of us plan to spend time this summer on vacation to refresh ourselves.

The 6th Annual Northeast Eucharistic Procession is this Sunday at 3:00PM. Come and join us in this wonderful way to give thanks and glory to God for his blessings of the Eucharist and for all the other ways he blesses us in our lives. Come and Praise Jesus Christ!

Father Glen Jenson, Pastor
