The Pharisees didn't approve of Jesus. They especially objected to the fact that he hung out with the "wrong crowd." Associating with tax collectors was not something they'd ever do. But Jesus set them straight - He had come to call sinners, not those who made a big deal about their righteousness. Whose side are you on?

Statements of account balances were mailed this past week to all who are currently paying on a "Continuing Our Tradition" pledge. Pledge statements will be mailed twice a year - June and December.

If you are making a semi-annual or annual payment on your pledge, or plan to give a second year gift, please consider doing it now. The more we can pay on our loan now, the less interest we pay. Thank you!

 HOLY CROSS CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES FUN'D RAISER - Our Confirmation Candidates are sponsoring an Aluminum Recycling Drive from May through September to help with the purchase of new tables and chairs for Kolbe Center. Please help us with this project. Bags of aluminum cans (pop or beer) can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory. Please - no glass or tin. ADORATION NEWS
June 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Loving Jesus through the Blessed Virgin Mary: She is the gate through which we enter His Sacred Heart. The Blessed Sacrament is the Sacred Heart of Jesus living and loving in our midst.

Come visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open hours: Monday 2:00 a.m. and Tuesday 11:00 a.m. For information call 763-788-4729 or 612-781-4806. Thank you.
REGISTRATION for the 2002-2003 religion classes and First Communion preparation after Mass in the Sacristy. It will only take a few minutes. This registration includes:
  All children who will attend public school and be in grades 1-8 next school year.
  Children who will be in grade 2 in preparation for First Communion, whether they attend public school or Northeast Regional Catholic School.
