FRIDAY EVENING MASS - There will be NO Polish evening Mass and Devotions on Friday during the months of June, July and August.

EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION - The Catholic Churches of Northeast Minneapolis will be holding the Third Annual “Eucharistic Procession” on Sunday, June 17, 2007 to give public honor and glory to our Lord’s gift of the Eucharist by processing through our seven churches.  Services will begin at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross, 1621 University Avenue N.E.  The Procession will move to Sts. Cyril & Methodius, St. Anthony, St. Boniface, St. Maron, St. Constantine, and a closing Benediction at All Saints at 435-4th St. N.E.  A Social with refreshments will follow at the Cedars Hall of St. Maron at 602 University Ave. N.E.  Please park in the lots by St. Maron and St. Boniface on 7th Ave. and University and ride the shuttle bus to Holy Cross.  You will then be parked where the procession will end.  In case of rain, the procession and social will be held at St. Maron Church.

WELCOMING MASS AND EVENTS Please mark your calendar for Friday, June 29th.  This is the date we will officially welcome our new Coadjutor Archbishop John C. Nienstedt.  Archbishop Flynn will celebrate the solemn High Mass of Welcome at 2:00 PM in the Cathedral of St. Paul.  A reception will follow the Mass.  Some cardinals, bishops from elsewhere in the U.S. and a delegate from the Papal Nuncio’s office in Washington are also expected to attend.

ENGLISH CLASSES - The International Institute offers English as a Second Language beginning June 11, 2007.  Classes focus on total language acquisition: speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar; with an emphasis on interactive language practice.  For more information call Corleen Smith, ESL Coordinator at 651-647-0191 ext. 307.  Class is held at the International Institute of Minnesota at 1694 Como Avenue, St. Paul, MN.

FREE CITIZENSHIP CLASSES - Learn U.S. history and government for the Citizenship Interview!  Classes are held Tuesday evenings 6:00 to 9:00 PM - now to June 26 or Saturday mornings 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM - now to June 30 or July 7 - August 11.  Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks.  The class is FREE.  Please register by calling 651-647-0191, ext. 307.

ANNUAL FESTIVAL - St. Hedwig Church Annual Festival TODAY - June 3 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  The church is located at 29th Ave. and Randolph St. N.E.   Bingo, kid’s games, food, pull tabs, beer, big wheel, raffle of $2000.00 with the grand prize of $1000.00 and much more.

ALL NIGHT VIGIL - The World Apostolate of Fatima of the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis is sponsoring an All Night Vigil or reparation and prayer at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 302 Fifth Avenue North, South St. Paul.  The vigil will begin on Friday, June 15 at 8:00 PM with the Rosary, the Mass at 9:00 PM and conclude with the Mass at 4:00 AM on Saturday, June 16.  Come join us for all or part of the evening.  Contact is Ann at 651-450-2008.

RURAL LIFE SUNDAY - The Archdiocesan Rural Life Sunday Celebration is set for Sunday, June 24th at the Jeff Tuma family farm in Montgomery, MN sponsored by the parish of Most Holy Redeemer.  For information call the Rural Life Office 651-645-8590.
