EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION - The Catholic Churches of lower Northeast Minneapolis will be holding their 7th Annual Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, June 12th to give honor and glory to our Lord’s gift of the Eucharist by processing through our seven churches.  Services begin at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross.  The Procession will move to St. Cyril and Methodius, St. Anthony, St. Boniface, St. Maron, and a closing Benediction at All Saints, 435 - 5th St. N.E.  A social with refreshments will follow at the Cedars Hall of St. Maron, 602 University Ave. N.E.  Please park in the lots by St. Maron’s and St. Boniface on 7th and University and ride the shuttle busses to Holy Cross. In case of rain, all will be at St. Maron’s.  Questions call 612-379-2324.

THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE will be August 3, 4 & 5 - Wednesday thru Friday.  Donations are needed.  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Donate things in your home that take up space and are never used.  NO clothing. TV’s or furniture.  Donations can be brought to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY - Here is your chance to use your skills (sew, crochet, knit, fleece tie or sew labels) and be a part of this great ministry.  Join us on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:30 PM in the Parish Library.  If you would like to work at home, stop by a meeting and see the shawls and get copies of prayers, patterns/ideas and guidelines.  If you would like more information or have questions call the Parish Office at 612-789-7238 or Mary at 612-379-4090.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - The East Side Thrift Store is looking for volunteers for upcoming special projects for the thrift store.  ▪▪ Fashion Shows at farmers market one Wednesday night a month June thru September starting June 15th 3-7 PM.  ▪▪ Live mannequins for window displays at the parade on June 21st.  ▪▪ Musicians for store Saturday and possibly Wednesday afternoons; good opportunity to practice in public, get experience.  For more information call Lynn at 612-789-0600.

CHURCH FESTIVAL - Church of St. Hedwig Annual Festival on Sunday, June 5 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM located on the corner of 29th Avenue and Randolph St. N.E.  Free Parking.  Raffle Grand Prize $1,000.00  Total Cash $2,000.00  Kids Games, Food, Cake Walk, Bingo, Pull Tabs, Wagon of Wine, Wheelbarrow of Booze, Beer garden, Big Wheel, Pot of Gold, Music and more.  Come to have fun.  All are welcome.

HOLY CROSS PARISH PICNIC Wednesday, June 15 at Columbia Park.  Games for kids, prizes and fun.  Evening begins with Mass at 6:00 PM followed by food and games.  Hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, chips, coffee, condiments, paper goods and juice provided.  Please bring a dish to share “pot-luck” style.  Reservations are required by Sunday, June 12.  For information or reservations call the parish office weekdays at 612-789-7238.
