RINGING BELLS FOR PEACE - On Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 1:15 PM Central Standard Time, the Cathedral of Saint Paul invites churches across North America to join them in a “Ringing Bells for Peace” effort.  Our church bells will ring on the occasion of the centennial of laying the Cathedral’s cornerstone - reminding us of our mission to be a sign of hope for our war-torn world.  During this time, all who hear the bells are asked to lift their hearts in a prayer for peace.  Sometimes we observe a moment of silence for an important occasion.  This time we will observe a moment of joyful noise!  Church bells have been heralds of news - they call us both to celebrate and pray.  The world is longing for peace.  We can turn our hearts to Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace as together we seek the way to peace.  Will you join in our prayer for peace?  If you are unable to hear the bells, perhaps you can set your alarm to ring at that time so that you can join thousands who will pray for peace in our world.  Join us then, as together we pray for peace on Saturday, June 2 at 1:15 PM.

PEACE MASS - Holy Cross will be the host of the next Peace Mass on Thursday, May 31.  Rosary begins at 6:30 PM; Mass at 7:00 PM.  Receive a copy of the message given to the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Refreshments follow.
