Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

MADE IN THE IMAGE

The God revealed to us by Jesus is not a remote loner, independent and glad to be so. Rather, the Christian God is the exact opposite - always in relationship, interdependent, essentially Love. And that is the God in whose image you have been created. Is that what the people with whom you live and work recognize in you? If not, you're not all that you can be.

CONGRATULATIONS TO FATHER ANDY on the occasion of his ordination to the Priesthood. May God continue to bless Father always.

Everyone is invited to an Open House to see the completed Kolbe Hall and the new elevator June 8 & 9. This past week a new door was installed in the alley entrance to Kolbe Center. A fence was put around the air-conditioning unit on 4th Street. All that remains is finishing work.

The bills are coming due for the remodeling and elevator. If you indicated that you will make a semi-annual or annual payment on your pledge, or if you plan to make a second year gift, please consider doing it now rather than towards the end of the year. The more funds we receive now, the less we will have to borrow. Thank you!

ADORATION NEWS
How great are the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! (Rom. 11 :33) Is Jesus important enough to you to set aside one special hour each week with Him? Just one hour, once a week, is all that He is asking. In everything you do, put God first, and He will direct you and bless you for your efforts (Prov. 3:36).

Come and visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open hours: Monday 2:00 a.m., Tuesday 11 :00 a.m., Friday 3:00 a.m. and 1 :00 p.m. For more information call 763-788-4729 or 612-781-4806. Thank you.
