Celebrating Retirements - Mark your calendar now for May 21 for a special Mass at Holy Cross followed by a reception in Kolbe Hall.  The teachers retiring at the end of the school year are Mrs. Pasichynk and Mr. Lesnik.  This is a surprise and a secret.

ST. HEDWIG’S FESTIVAL - The Church of St. Hedwig, 129-29th Avenue N.E., Minneapolis will have their Festival on Sunday, June 6th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Raffle $2,000 in cash prizes.  The Grand Prize is $1,000.00.  Bingo, Cake Walk, beer, pull tabs, Big Wheel, Money Hat, great food, Pop Toss, Pot of Gold, children’s games and more.  Free parking on 29th and Marshall.

EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION - The Catholic Churches of lower Northeast Minneapolis will be holding their 6th Annual Eucharistic Procession of Sunday, June 13th to give honor and glory to our Lord’s gift of the Eucharist by processing through our seven churches.  Services begin at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross.  The Procession will move to St. Cyril and Methodius, St. Anthony, St. Boniface, St. Maron, St. Constantine and a closing Benediction at All Saints at 435-5th St. N.E.  A social with refreshments will follow at the Cedars Hall of St. Maron, 602 University Ave. N.E.  Park in the lots behind St. Maron and St. Boniface on 7th and University and ride the shuttle bus to Holy Cross.  In case of rain, all will be at St. Maron’s.

THE HOLY CROSS “RUMMAGE SALE” (former Garage Sale) will be August 4, 5 & 6 - Wednesday through Friday.  Donations are needed.  Bring good, useable items that you no longer need.  Unload some of those things that take up space and are never used.  No clothing, TV’s or furniture.  Donations can be brought to the garages behind the rectory weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Questions?  Call 612-789-7238 weekdays.

PENTECOST MASS - On Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 3:00 PM you are invited to concelebrate the Annual Archdiocesan Charismatic Pentecost Mass.  The celebrant and homilist will be Bishop Lee Piche.  Praise and worship at 2:30 PM Immaculate Conception Church, 4030 Jackson Street N.E.  Refreshments following Mass.  Sponsored by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Office - 763-571-5314.
