WE ARE GRATEFUL
FOR OUR MANY VOLUNTEERS
Holy Cross has a limited number of paid staff and a huge
number of volunteers who are the heart of this parish.
The Funeral Luncheon Committee served the first luncheon on April 10, 1978.
Helen Galka was one of three original chairpersons and is still on the job along
with a dedicated group of women.
The Tuesday Toilers continue to do many repair and improvement projects around
the parish. They work on the grounds, in the church and in our buildings.
We are also blessed to have people who volunteer to teach religion to our
children, choir members, lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, ushers, officers of
organizations, library volunteers, collection counters, servers, altar cleaners
and church decorators, finance council, festival workers, organizers of youth
and senior activities, Perpetual Adoration coordinators and volunteers, Wine
& Cheese social workers, and volunteers in any capacity.
