EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

We know May as being the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  HER adoration was profound, and Mary offered her whole self to the service of love of the Eucharistic God.  Visit the Adoration Chapel to trust all things to JESUS in the Blessed Sacrament through the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of JESUS, and our Mother.

SHOW SOMEONE YOU LOVE HOW MUCH YOU CARE - On Mother’s Day, we celebrate the special people in our lives.  There are a number of ways you can show someone how much you care.  Consider doing something for them that can really make a difference.  Show them how to get extra help with their Medicare prescription drug costs.  The high cost of medicine can be a burden on those who have limited income and resources.  Extra Help - available through Social Security - can pay part of monthly premiums, annual deductibles and prescription co-payments.  The extra help could be worth an average of $3,700 per year. To apply by phone or get an application call 1-800-772-1213.  To learn more about the prescription drug plans call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).

‘WRAPPING LOVE AROUND THOSE IN NEED” - We would like to start a Prayer Shawl Ministry here at Holy Cross.  This ministry makes prayer shawls in a prayerful reflective group within a parish.  The prayer shawls are then given to others who could benefit from comfort and prayers as they are experiencing illness, pain, grief, or loss.  They may also be given to children and youths who are receiving the sacraments of baptism and confirmation.  We are looking for people who knit, crochet, quilt or sew who are interested in sharing their talents in this charitable ministry.  If you are interested in finding out more about this ministry, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd at 6:30 PM in the Parish Library.  If you have any questions, please contact Mary Kozacz at 612-379-4090.

FOR SALE:      We moved, no room!  Dining Room Set: large table, six chairs, buffet and china cabinet and large crystal chandelier.  Call 612-812-4416 or 763-767-0096.
