Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

For many, the first impression of love experienced in life comes from a mother. If we’re fortunate, that love reflects, to a human degree, God’s love for us. A mother’s love is inclusive; moms tend to welcome, feed and care for everyone their children bring home, from best friends to stray dogs. A mother’s love is selfless; writer Victor Hugo says the reason a starving woman fed her children, but denied herself what little food she had was “because she is a mother.” And a mother’s love is never-ending; witness the concern that mothers show even to sons and daughters who are well into middle age. How glad and grateful we should be that our mothers model God’s love for us.
