Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

A WISE CHOICE

The apostle Philip was inspired to journey to Samaria to preach the Gospel. This must have seemed a bit strange to the disciples in Jerusalem since the Samaritans were looked upon as outsiders by other Jews. But soon their prejudices were challenged by the fact that Philip's ministry met great success. And God's blessing was made clear when the Spirit descended on many there. Into what parts of your own life might the Spirit wish to be invited?

The remodeling of Kolbe Center, the new Kolbe Kitchen, and the installation of an elevator for the recreation center/school is just about complete. The kitchen across from the gym was finished enough to be used for  the school's "Fun'd Festival" last weekend. The painters and floor tile people are nearly finished. The doors are being hung, locks installed, telephone lines ordered. As  this bulletin was going to the printer, we anticipate that Excel Energy will be here on Thursday, May 2 to work on connecting the new power source.

We still need $237,238.00 to reach our goal. If you would like to give a gift, make a pledge, or give a second year gift, please use the yellow envelope in the envelope packet mailed to your home. Thank you for your continued generosity!
