FRENCH TOAST BREAKFAST

The Holy Name Societies and Men’s Clubs of Northeast present “Breakfast at Kolbe Hall” on Sunday, April 29th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.  The “all-you-can-eat” breakfast will include: French Toast, Sausage, Fruit Cup, Orange Juice, Coffee or Milk.  Adults $5.00; Children $2.00 (under 12); Children under 5 FREE.  Proceeds go to Pope John Paul II/NERO Booster Club and Northeast Food Shelf.

BENEFIT GALA - Mark your calendar for Friday, April 27th for the Pope John Paul II and Trinity Catholic School 2007 Gala-Reunion and Auction.  The Gala will take place at the Holiday Inn in Arden Hills with Social at 6:00 PM and Dinner at 7:00 PM.  Master of Ceremony will be Nick Radulovich from Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapels.  Entertainment provided by the Tkach Band and the Pope John Paul II and Trinity school choirs.  Some auction items are: Key West Condo; golfing packages for Edina Country Club and the Wilds Golf Club, theatre and dinner tickets.  Tickets are $75 per person. TOTINO-GRACE INFORMATION MEETING - Representatives from Totino-Grace will be holding informational meetings for parents of 6th and 7th graders at several parishes throughout the northern metro during the first two weeks of May.  Come and find out what makes Totino-Grace such a special place.  To find a location and time that works for you, call T.J. BACH CONCERT - Hear J.S. WOMEN’S RESEARCH FORUM - The St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocesan Commission on Women in collaboration with the College of St. Catherine and the University of St. Thomas will be holding it’s 4th Women’s Research Forum on April 28th, 2007 at the Coeur de Catherine Center at the College of St. Catherine.  The title is, “Women, Church, and Society: Leadership and Justice.”  Information is available at www.archspm.org/spmcwn, 651-291-4513, or temflyya@archspm.org.

“THANKS MOM FOR LIFE” MOTHER’S DAY CORSAGES - The English Altar & Rosary Guild is sponsoring “Thanks Mom for Life” corsages for Mothers Day.  Order your Mom, grandmother, aunt or favorite lady a corsage.  Advance sale April 28/29 and May 5/6.  Buy a ticket which you exchange Mother’s Day weekend (May 12 & 13) for a lovely orchid corsage with attached pro-life message.  Donation is $5.00.  Proceeds go to area pro-life activities.

CHICKEN DINNER - Our Lady of Victory Church, 5155 Emerson Avenue North is having a Chicken Dinner on Sunday, April 29th from Noon to 3:00 PM.  Menu includes Oven Roasted Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Vegetable, Homemade Rolls, Cole Slaw, Dessert and Beverage.  Cost is Adults $10, Children (4-12) $5, Children (under 5) FREE.  Dinner tickets will only be sold at the door.

DONATE A QUILT AND CHANGE A LIFE - Please donate a quilt for the benefit of women and children struggling with poverty, violence, homelessness, or illiteracy.  Quilts will be auctioned at the School Sisters of Notre Dame Quilt Auction on October 27, 2007, at St. Michael School in Prior Lake.  All proceeds benefit women and children in need.  Quilts may be sent by September 15, 2007 to: School Sisters of Notre Dame, Office of Development and Communications, 170 Good Counsel Drive, Mankato, MN  56001.  For more information contact Sister Lynore at 507-389-4213 or lgirmscheid@ssndmankato.org.
