Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

What are you doing this week? Where will you be?

As a community of faith we are celebrating our annual commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But the days of this week are more than just snapshot views of the past or pages from a scrapbook. This is our Christian pasch, our Passover feast.

What we do this week is not merely a memory of historical events of long ago. Christ’s dying and rising has an effect in our lives. And what we celebrate in Holy Week is the annual commemoration of our own baptism, our own dying and rising in Christ.

Join us on Thursday night, on Friday, and on Saturday night to celebrate the events of Christ’s life and what they mean for us who are members of his body through our own death to sin in baptism.

THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY, to date we have pledges totaling $14,464.00 or 51% of our assigned goal of $28,263.00.  Each gift is important to the mission of our Archdiocese; it takes many people to form the Body of Christ.  No gift is too small.  Please return a pledge slip with your response today.  The archdiocese will begin a telephone follow-up campaign in May.
