Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

Wheat dies again and again to give life. The seed dies to bring forth a new plant. The plant dies as it produces new grains of wheat to be harvested. The grains are grounded into fine flour. The flour is given life as yeast is added, but then dies again when in the oven as it is baked. And finally, as the wheat bread is eaten it is broken down in our digestive system to nourish us for the day.

Our daily bread took months to be brought to our table and died and rose often along the way. As we eat bread this week consider the sacrifice you are willing to make to give others life.

HAM & CASH BINGO this afternoon,  Sunday, April 2, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Kolbe Hall.  Sponsored by the English Rosary Guild.  Join us for an afternoon of bingo, fun and refreshments!

THE POLISH HOLY NAME will be selling Pierogi TODAY after Masses in Kolbe Center.  All proceeds to go the painting of the Church.

THE FAMILY OF ELIZABETH CHOCK thanks Father David, Father Andrew, Sister Benita, Sister Donna and Sister Priscilla for their spiritual care and support.  We also thank the Polish Rosary Society, altar boys and the ladies who served the funeral brunch.  To our many friends we thank you for your generosity towards Elizabeth’s preferred charity - the painting of the Church.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION - By now some may have heard that Father David was in the hospital on Sunday, March 26.  Actually he paid a visit to the ER when he awoke in the early morning hours with a case of Vertigo (loss of balance and dizziness due to an inner ear disturbance).  With rest on Sunday and a prescribed antihistamine, Father was better on Monday.  He thanks all for their concern.
