Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION In today’s Gospel we read how the apostle Thomas doubted the story the others told him of seeing Jesus alive. Though Jesus seems to chastise Thomas for his doubts, they actually serve to underscore again the magnitude of the miracle of the resurrection. Why would anyone believe such a story without seeing proof with their own eyes? Yet that is what all of us are asked to do. Jesus even praises us: “Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” Do we deserve that praise? Is it true that we have believed without seeing the risen Lord for ourselves? How has faith in Jesus affected us? How has his resurrection made our lives new? Jesus is truly risen from the dead. Do we act like we believe this? Do we live as his disciples? REMEMBER IN YOUR PRAYERS Sister Priscilla Tykwinski who passed away on March 22.  Sister was a Pastoral Minister here at Holy Cross and also worked with the Senior Group.  Sister Priscilla was buried at the Franciscan Motherhouse in Sylvania, Ohio on Wednesday, March 27.  May she rest in peace.
