EASTER GREETINGS AND OUR PRAYERS
FOR A BLESSED AND HOLY EASTER!
WESOLEGO ALLELUIA!

Father David and Father Andrew

BULLETIN CONNECTION

Christ is risen, Alleluia! He has truly risen, Alleluia!

The greeting and response is common among Eastern Christians. This Easter day is filled with joy because Christ is alive. For forty days we have been preparing for this feast. Now that it is here we will celebrate for fifty days, all the way up to Pentecost.

Alleluia is a joyful shout that literally means "Praise the Lord." Try out that word in these next fifty days. Notice blessings that you see around you and say, "Alleluia!"

It took the apostles a little time to recognize the presence of the risen Christ. The had to get used to him in a different way. It may take a little time to get used to noticing blessings and silently (or vocally) saying "Alleluia!" But give it a try.
