Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

Light and truth are important themes in today’s Gospel. Jesus comes as light of the world, and in his light the deeds of darkness are exposed. That’s the nature of light; in it, nothing can hide.

Part of Lent is exposing the darkened corners of our hearts to the light of Christ. Those who are going to be baptized at the Easter vigil are encouraged to review the patterns of their living to make sure that they conform to the life of Christ.

Those of us who are baptized do the same when we make an examination of conscience - a kind of personal inventory. We review how we’ve been living as a Christian, and confess the ways we’ve not measured up.

With just a few weeks left before Easter, now is the time to celebrate the sacrament of penance and let the light of Christ shine in all corner’s of one’s life.

THE POLISH HOLY NAME will be selling Pierogi TODAY after Masses in Kolbe Center.  All proceeds to go the painting of the Church.

THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY, to date we have pledges totaling $14,113.00 or 50% of our assigned goal of $28,263.00.  Each gift is important to the mission of our Archdiocese; it takes many people to form the Body of Christ.  No gift is too small.  Please return a pledge slip with your response today.  The archdiocese will begin a telephone follow-up campaign in May.
