A TRUSTWORTHY HEART
For His part, Jesus would not trust Himself to
them because He knew them all.
He needed no one to give Him testimony about the heart.
John 2:24-25
Today, as you receive the Eucharist,
ask yourself if your heart is worthy of the trust
Jesus places in you.

FORTY
HOURS DEVOTION
As Catholic Christians we believe that Jesus is uniquely present to us in the
Eucharist, the actual Body and Blood of Christ. This is our Faith; it
goes back to apostolic times. During the Eucharistic prayer at Mass, we believe
that the bread and wine become the Real Presence of Christ. Outside of
Mass, the consecrated Host is known as the Abiding Presence. The Blessed
Sacrament, as the Abiding Presence, is placed in a monstrance during
extended exposition such as during our Forty Hours Devotion. |
THE EDUCATIONAL TASK FORCE will again sponsor a spring plant and flower
sale. Watch future bulletins for more information and an order form. |
|
PARISH ALMSGIVING PROJECT - Thank you for the very generous donation of breakfast foods for St. Joseph's Home for Children and soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes for Sharing and Caring Hands. On March 29 and 30 we will collect Children's and Adult Tylenol and Aspirin for Brother de Paul desperately needed by Father Ted Kalinowski at St. Anthony Parish in Sokolka, Poland. God bless you for your continued generosity in helping others during Lent.
