ATTENTION PARENTS of CCD and Confirmation students!! There will be NO CCD class this Wednesday, March 24th but there will be Confirmation class as usual.
LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS, sponsored by the English Rosary Guild, will be held in Kolbe Hall 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on the Wednesdays during Lent. Menu includes: Homemade soup. bread, dessert, milk or coffee. $3.00 adults and $1.50 for children. All proceeds go to charity. This week's soup is Beef Noodle.
THE ENGLISH ALTAR AND ROSARY GUILD would like to extend their thanks to all those who have supported their Soup Suppers to date. Thanks to our customers, cooks, servers, bakers and clean-up crew. We could not do it without all of you!
"ALL YOU CAN EAT" FISH FRYS sponsored by the Holy Cross Educational Task Force every Friday during Lent including Good Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Kolbe Center. Menu includes Fish, French Fries or Baked Potato, Cole Slaw, Roll/Butter, Coffee or Milk. Adults $7.50, under 12 - $3.00.
MINNESOTA GALA Fundraiser Dinner for the Sisters of St. Francis, Sylvania, Ohio on April 23, 2004, at St. John the Baptist Church in New Brighton. Tickets are $100.00 each. A raffle will take place with prizes which include a Florida Vacation Condo, fine art pottery and a water color Portrait of the Madonna. ANTHONY OF PADUA WOMEN'S GUILD will hold their Easter Craft and Bake Sale in the Atrium of Catholic Eldercare, 817 Main Street N.E. on Saturday, March 27th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will include a variety of home baked goods and craft items as well as "Toni's Attic Treasures."
NORTH EAST SENIOR CITIZEN RESOURCE CENTER Handy Works Program Expansion - the NE Handy Works program is expanding into the City of St. Anthony. Our program serves seniors with home chores such as snow removal, lawn mowing, light housekeeping, minor repair and other minor home chores. THE SCHOOL SISTERS OF NOTRE DAME invite single Catholic women, high school age and older, to a Come and See Weekend at their Motherhouse in Mankato, MN, April 16-18, 2004. There will be time to pray, to learn about the life and mission of the sisters, to relax, have fun and interact with other young women who are curious about religious life.
