Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTIONS

We’re beginning our Third Week of Lent. In just a month, we’ll celebrate Easter. But before we renew our baptismal promises on the 16th of April, we have a few things to do. Hopefully, we’re still letting the disciplines of prayer, fasting and almsgiving work their way into our lives. If you haven’t had much chance to get on track with this in the last few weeks, don’t give up. You still have a month to go. Pick up and try again.

There are some other celebrations along the way for us as well. The sacrament of Penance is part of our Lenten practice. And gathering as one community for the paschal Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night is the culmination of our Lenten preparation.

Make plans now to be part of all these feasts!

Please remember Holy Cross Parish in your Will.

THE CLOSING SERVICE for our Forty Hours Devotion is at 4:00 PM TODAY - March 19.  Father Glen Jensen from St. Anthony Parish will be the homilist.  Music will be provided by a combined choir from several parishes.  Please join us for this beautiful service.  A Wine and Cheese Social will follow in Kolbe Center.  Everyone is welcome.

THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY of many parishioners, to date we have pledges totaling $12,993.00 or 46% of our assigned goal of $28,263.00.  Each gift is important to the mission of our Archdiocese; it takes many people to form the Body of Christ.  No gift is too small.  Please return a pledge slip with your response today.  The archdiocese will conduct a telephone follow-up campaign to all who do not respond on the parish level.
