Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

This weekend we see the Lord Jesus rehabilitate Peter to be the head of the apostles by his triple questioning of his love for Jesus. To serve Jesus you must love Jesus. To love Jesus, you must love his brothers and sisters, the people around us. The pain in Peter’s heart when Jesus questioned his love for him was a fraction of the hurt that Peter caused Jesus by his denial of him when he was arrested, yet it sufficed for him to be healed of his fearful lack of trust in Jesus as his savior. Our response to the Lord in sorrow for sin and determination to turn away from sin is sufficient to unleash a river of grace from God in response. May this Easter season be a time of real conversion in our faith community that we may experience a river of divine grace in our lives.

This Sunday the annual Holy Name French Toast breakfast is going on in Kolbe Hall. Please come and enjoy a wonderful breakfast and support our school and the Northeast Food Shelf.

This coming Friday evening, April 23rd, is our school’s Gala Fundraiser at Cedar’s Hall at St. Maron’s Church. When Christian people gather to show their support for a cause, God becomes involved.

Please come and gather with others of our faith community in supporting these wonderful causes. You will receive much more than a gold star from your pastor for having done so! Be part of the new springtime of faith for our community.
